I am a wife, a mom, and a photographer.
I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. My mom always has a camera in hand. . .or at least in her purse! So I sorta grew up with the idea of taking lots of pictures.
I first got into photography about 9 years ago. I started with a Nikon N65 film camera. I learned a lot with my first SLR, but it wasn't until I was asked to be the photographer at my brother-in-laws wedding that I started to really put in the time to learn about photography. I now shoot with a Cannon 5d Mark II. (Yes, I switched brands! No, I am not a specific brand lover, it just worked out this way.)
I mainly shoot natural light photography, outdoors. But I have done some indoor work and find it challenging and fun. I may some day have my own studio, but for now I love to find great local places to shoot at. . .indoors and out.
